Running LCDd creates the required /dev/lcd0 ls -l /dev/lcd*Ĭrw-rw- 1 root root 180, 0 22:02 /dev/lcd0 I have followed these instructions carefully and compiled lcdproc patched with the lcdproc-0.5.2-imonlcd-0.3.patch without problems. The required software patches and installation instructions are detailed by Dean at: The software used to drive the IMON LCD display is lcdproc. Srw-rw-rw- 1 root root 0 22:02 /dev/lircd The lirc_imon and lirc_dev modules load, /dev/lirc0 and /dev/lircd are created and both the volume knob on the Antec case and the Harmony remote control work very well with this lirc lsmod | grep lircĬrw-rw- 1 root root 61, 0 22:02 /dev/lirc0 The /etc/lirc/nf for Soundcraft iMON IR/LCD and the mceusb based /etc/lirc/nf files provided in that site were used and the Harmony 525 remote set up to simulate the Microsoft Media Centre remote. Lirc was installed from the package lirc_0.8.3-0ubuntu_b as detailed in: I have the the ffdc lsusbīus 004 Device 002: ID 04d9:0499 Holtek Semiconductor, Inc.īus 002 Device 003: ID 15c2:ffdc SoundGraph Inc. I want to use this machine as a dedicated mythtv frontend - the frontend video and audio work fine using a separate Ubuntu Hardy based server as the backend. Software is Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 installed from an alternate AMD64 disk. Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L(Rev 1.0) motherboardĪntec Black 430 case with IMON LCD screen and IR receiver I am sure it would be useful to many if we could get a reliable "fix" to this problem. There are many related threads on this forum and at Codeka, but I am starting this new thread because I find that, for many, the necessary lcdproc installation procedures appear to have just worked without too many problems, but many others seem to get to the point I am at, the display still doesn't work and the thread goes dead. I have been trying to get the IMON LCD on my Antec case working for the past 2 weeks without success.
